Negative Erfahrung: Je ne voulais pas mettre une mauvaise note car LE vétérinaire n’est pas trop mal mais LA vétérinaire et les assistantes… j’ai amené mon chiot pour se faire couper les ongles c’est un massacre le pauvre il saigne de partout… elles le tenaient à 3 pour lui couper les ongles et tout les ongles ne sont pas coupés…certains sont en sang, d’autres coupé n'importe comment et d’autres même pas coupé. Il est tout traumatisé! Et d’autres choses encore mais je crois que ça suffit déjà. Je n’y retournerai plus.

Sur 3 ans, j’ai amené 3 chats (2 à deux reprises). – L’un est mort 4 jours après une visite où on m’assurait qu’il avait « de belles années devant lui ». – Le second, 6 ans aujourd’hui, a une insuffisance rénale due à une gingivite chronique causée par une dent mal placée. Bouche infectée en permanence, fièvre, pus avalé pendant 3 ans. Malgré mes demandes, aucun antibiotique ni anti-inflammatoire n’a été donné. Nouvel avis vétérinaire : état catastrophique. – La troisième, gestante à terme +2 jours, a eu radio/écho : on m’annonce « 3 ou 4 grands chatons, tous vivants », on me dit d’attendre encore 2-3 jours. Accouchement : 5 chatons, dont 3 entre 52 et 61 g, 1 mort-né, 2 morts dans les 48 h, soins d’urgence assurés par moi-même. Lieu sale, odeur forte, fioles de produits dangereux ouvertes. Personnel froid, désagréable : lorsqu’on arrive avec un animal décédé et qu’on demande 5 min pour lui dire adieu, on vous demande « pour faire quoi ? ». Pratiques archaïques, absence d’hygiène et d’empathie. Mon conseil : fuyez.

Negative Erfahrung: À fuir ! Visiblement qu'une cliente n'attache pas son chien dans le cabinet c'est ok pour tout le monde. Ensuite le chien du cabinet n'est pas attaché non plus et bloqué contre un mur avec le pied pour pas qu'il aille voir les autres chiens supplément petit coup de pied pour le bloquer quand il bouge. La salle de consultation était sale, je n'ai jamais vu ça. Je suis partie avant même qu'on ausculte mon animal. Le vétérinaire m'a dit "vous faites bien de partir, depuis que vous être entré vous avez un comportement bizarre". Ah bah super ça juge la clientèle. Je discute avec le voisinage concernant cette clinique, j'ai recueilli plusieurs témoignages : - "j'ai emmené mon animal pour un détartrage, il est ressorti avec la langue noire. Quand j'ai demandé des explications, on m'a dit qu'il avait du manger du charbon chez moi" -"une personne retraitée s'est ruinée pour les soins de son animal. Ils poussent à la médication et aux frais excessif" -"j'ai emmené mon animal, ils ont failli le tuer. J'y suis allé qu'une fois, plus jamais et je n'ai pas payé leur facture". Voilà, je préviens, libre à vous d'y aller, je suis content d'être parti à temps

Negative Erfahrung: Une honte, après plusieurs consultations et vaccins inutiles.. On m’a dit que au final les vaccins que j’avais demandé pour mon chaton n’avait pas été fait.. Ils ont donc fait des vaccins qui ne serviront à rien car le but était que mon chat puisse sortir. Des odeurs de pipi et hygiène déplorable, je ne conseille à personne cette clinique!

Negative Erfahrung: Our dog was very sick and not treated with care by the substituting doctor. They ignored our explanation about what had happened to the dog that was intoxicated and gave her the opposite instead of makeing her throw up.

She is lovely and has always helped with our rescues. She also speaks English quite well if you don't speak French very well yet.

Negative Erfahrung: I am extremely disappointed! Since two years we have been faithful patients to their cabinet, and I am not happy with the fact they are trying to put a diagnose without even making proper testing. Since Dr Castelbolognesi left, the level and service of this cabinet went down! Now for the cabinet it is more important to sell their products instead of giving proper examination and treatment to their clients. Let me tell you the story below, so you can understand what I am talking about. My dog started showing some red spots on her body and blisters ( no itching), so I took her to them 2 months ago, and Dr Spycher said it is skin irritation or allergy ( without running any tests whatsoever, just saying she has allergy from grass or something like that most likely) and made me buy shampoo and omega spray from them. And I do not mind buying, I always buy many stuff for my dog from there and other shops, that is not an issue at all. A month later the skin irritations became even more and bigger sizes, so my sister took my dog again to them (as i was travelling ) and this time was Dr Babel. Not only that she didn't do proper examination to my dog, not even checking her body temperature, she put the diagnose of allergy again and made me buy ANOTHER shampoo ( which obviously was not helping ) and buy special food from them ( because according to her my dog now had allergy from the food ) and of course give her a shot of corticosteroids ( which is super strong and actually will just calm down the symptoms for few days and than they will come back again , as we did not know what is the reason for this irritations). I was very disappointed by the second appointment, as it was already obvious that the problem is serious and that tests should be done to find out what is the reason. So, as I was their patient still, I send an email to Dr Babel explaining very detailed the situation, and that I am really not happy with the fact that they just try to sell their products without even doing proper examination, and asking her to schedule at least a blood test for my dog to find out if she really has allergy! They never answered to my email!!!!! And the case was urgent because my dog was having bigger and bigger blisters with blood even.... Thank God I went to another vet in Geneva, which was extremely professional and helpful, she immediately determined that it is not an allergy as it didn't have symptoms of allergy, took all tests necessary and now we are going through special treatment with antibiotics. As a conclusion, the vet office of Frontenex is lacking professionalism, they are just placing diagnoses without any proper examination in order to sell you their products and make you go again and again, and they do not respect at all or care about their patients, they do not care to a point that they do not even answer your emails and phone calls!

Negative Erfahrung: Je ne recommande pas du tout ce cabinet. Le responsable est irrespectueux. Aucune réactivité, plusieurs consultations pour rien. Incapables de reconnaître une infection dentaire et la différence entre un kyste et une tumeur. J'ai du aller urgemment chez un autre vétérinaire, pour faire soigner correctement ma chienne.

Negative Erfahrung: Dr. Spicher n’a pas su reconnaître un pancreatite aigu chez ma chienne, même après une échographie où toutes les signes étaient évidentes, maintenant quand la vrais cause de malaise est trouvée il est tres difficile de soigner ma chienne car la maladie a progressé depuis. Ils lui ont tout fait : perfusion de vitamines, détartrage etc. Ils ont même supposé que c’est à cause d’une dent qui bouge et lui ont enlevé une dent. La chienne a souffert plusieurs jours. Finalement il s’est énervé au téléphone en me criant dessus. J’ai payé une facture plus de 1000 francs. Des vrais incapables.

Positive Erfahrung: Au moins deux vétérinaires expérimentés, un accueil sympa et après avoir rapidement rempli un formulaire, on attend relativement peu de temps, à condition qu'on aie pris un rendez-vous au préalable, ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas ailleurs. Situé au centre de Genève pas loin de l'arrêt du Bus 9 (rue xxxı décembre) ou le tram 12 arrêt Roche, 600 mètres de marche env. Il y a aussi, mis à part l'accueil, une personne chargé de faire le lien entre vétérinaire et vous, si ils sont occupés, cette personne m'a rappeler les posologies, la manière d'administrer médicaments, gouttes ou pommade car j'avais pas tout compris ou retenu, dû au stress pas seulement de l'animal, on peut laisser son chat ou chien si la durée du traitement /intervention est longue, et venir le chercher à son réveil (narcose complète ou partielle) j'y suis allé deux Fois, et j'ai remarqué que si on reste avec son "compagnon" pendant les soins, ils se plaignent plus en votre présence et cela complique l'intervention du médecin vétérinaire. Les rendez-vous suite à mon appel m'ont été rapidement et les prix sont dans la moyenne.

Negative Erfahrung: Toujours énormément de retard! J’avais rdv à 13h ...ils nous ont pris à 14h10!!!! Sans explications, sans excuses! Vétérinaires médiocres! J’habite dans le même immeuble et je préfère aller jusqu’a Vésenaz pour de bons soins et respect du client! Allez ailleurs sauf pour un vaccin.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Cliente depuis 13 ans J'adore le Dr Spycher qui a beaucoup d’expérience avec les chats ( j'imagine dû à son travail avec SOS chats ), très attentionné et à l'écoute, doux dans ses gestes, et je vois le même respect des animaux dans toute l'équipe(les doctoresses Babel et Camille ainsi que les assistants-es). Je ne changerais pour rien, ils essaient vraiment de trouver la meilleure solution pour le confort de mon chat sans pousser à la consommation des médicaments.

Positive Erfahrung: Ils m'ont toujouts reçu en urgence. Ils sont spécialistes pour les chats. Par contre, les médecins changent très souvent... c'est un peu désagréable, on n'a jamais le temps de s'habituer à quelqu'un.

Negative Erfahrung: Since Dr R. Spycher has taken over this clinic, it has become very Geneva style of "quantity over quality" and you contemplate if diagnoses were intentionally missed, so you have to come again and again. His staff are kind and the female Veterinarian too is professional but if dealing with Dr. Spycher AVOID because should you have a concern after your appointment, he will recommend coming for another paying appointment regardless if the last was yesterday. No respect for his clients or genuine concern for the animals. Left very disappointed since I have been a happy client there for over 12 years.

Negative Erfahrung: I had a very bad experience with this cabinet de veteninaire. My dog was digging in the dirt, so much that she experienced muscle soreness. But since I was not aware of what was going on, I thought it might be something bad, like a sting, therefore I chose to bring her to the vet. First they handed me a paper for me to fill out, with many personal questions, e.g. what kind profession, bank account number etc. Already here I felt very uncomfortable, because I informed them before that I was going to pay cash. Afterwards, I told the doctor that she had been digging, and therefore she had a problem walking. Since it was impossible to see something I asked him to give her an X-ray to make sure. The photos were taken and a small round circle was showing on the photos of her paw. He and his assistance told me that she would need to have an operation next week, to open her paw. I was not feeling good about it; therefore I decided the same day to verify the results with another doctor. On the same day the second doctor made a second X-ray, and told me that she had nothing but only muscle soreness, due to overexertion. He also told me that the circle on the other X-ray was only a dirt mark on the lens of the machine. This meant that an expensive, and for the dog, a suffering operation would not be necessary. Therefore I am giving you the advice not to choose this Practice or if you choose so, consult another doctor also to confirm the results of your pet. This episode was the worst consultation I have ever had, and I have much experience with veterinary in many countries. The veterinary should keep in mind that their job is to help the animals to get quickly better not just to get quickly rich. J'ai eu une très mauvaise expérience avec ce cabinet de vétérinaire. Ma chienne a creusé dans la terre à un tel point qu'elle a souffert de tensions musculaires. N'étant pas consciente de l'origine de son mal, l'idée m'ait venue que cela puisse être quelque chose de plus grave comme une lésion ou une piqûre. C'est pourquoi j'ai choisi de l'emmener chez le vétérinaire. En premier lieu on m'a remis un formulaire à remplir contenant beaucoup de questions personnelles. Par exemple: "quel genre de profession?" ; "Numéro de compte bancaire" ; etc.… Déjà à ce moment je sentais que quelque chose n'allait pas, étant donné que je les avais prévenus que je payerai en espèces. Ensuite, j'i pu expliquer au docteur le mal de ma chienne et pourquoi elle était dans cette situation. Puisqu'il était impossible de détecter quoique ce soit à l'œil nu, j'ai demandé à ce que des clichés par radiographie soient fait. Le docteur et son assistante m'ont montré les photos (un petit cercle ressortait des clichés de sa patte) et m'ont dit qu'une opération s'avérait nécessaire la semaine suivante pour ouvrir sa patte. J'avais un mauvais pressentiment à ce sujet, de ce fait j'ai décidé de recouper le résultat le même jour avec un autre vétérinaire. Le résultat de ses clichés n'ont rien montré et le docteur a ainsi conclut qu'il s'agissait de simple tensions musculaires dues à une activité physique trop intense. Ce même vétérinaire m'a aussi confié que le cercle noir sur les premiers clichés était une simple imperfection sur l'appareil optique de la machine. Cela veut dire qu'une opération douloureuse pour ma chienne et coûteuse pour moi ne sera pas nécessaire. Enfin, c'est pour toutes les raisons données précédemment que je vous déconseille fortement de ne pas choisir ce cabinet vétérinaire pour vous futures consultations. Personnellement, cette consultation fût la pire que je n'ai jamais eu à subir, pourtant forte de bien des expériences dans différents cabinets à travers l'Europe. Aussi, certains vétérinaires feraient bien de se rappeler que leur métier s'agit de soigner leurs patients au plus vite et non de s'enrichir au plus vite. Cordialement
